Smoked Reindeer Pizza (Rökt renpizza)

Ingredients

  • 250g smoked reindeer meat, thinly sliced
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the smoked reindeer slices, red onion, and black olives on top of the cheese.
  6. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves before slicing and serving.
