Smoked Salmon and Dill Tart (Suitsetatud lõhe ja tillitart)

Ingredients

  • 200g smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse the flour and butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add cold water and pulse until the dough comes together.
  3. Press the dough into a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork. Blind bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Stir in the chopped smoked salmon and dill.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked tart shell and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  6. Let the tart cool slightly before serving.
