Smoky Pork Raja

Ingredients

  • 500g pork, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Next, add the pork cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  4. Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in 2 cups of water, cover the pan, and let the pork cook on low heat for about 45 minutes or until tender.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala, add green chilies, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
