Smoky Pork With King Chilli

Ingredients

  • 500g pork, cut into cubes
  • 10-12 king chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.
  2. Add the pork cubes and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  3. Stir in the chopped king chillies, tomato, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in enough water to cover the pork and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45-50 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  5. Season with salt and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
