Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh snails
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Thoroughly clean the snails and remove any dirt or impurities.
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the cleaned snails to the pot and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, diced green bell pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the snails are tender.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
