Snowy Owl Stuffed Peppers
Snowy Owl Stuffed Peppers are a delicious and nutritious dish inspired by the Yamal Cuisine. These stuffed peppers are filled with a flavorful mixture of ingredients and are perfect for a cozy winter meal.
Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey, onion, and garlic until the turkey is no longer pink.
- Add the cooked quinoa, diced tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the turkey and quinoa mixture. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
