Ingredients
- 2 cups gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over low heat.
- Add gram flour and roast on low heat until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and spread it evenly using a spatula.
- Let it cool for 15-20 minutes, then cut into desired shapes.
- Soan Papri is ready to be served.
