Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the hibiscus flowers, ginger, and mint leaves to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
