Ingredients
- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the hibiscus flowers, ginger, and mint leaves to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Stir in the pineapple juice and honey (or sugar) until well combined.
