Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, minced
  • 2 tbsp raw papaya paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup fried onions
  • 2 tbsp roasted chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup hung curd
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp mace powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the minced mutton, raw papaya paste, ginger-garlic paste, fried onions, roasted chickpea flour, hung curd, garam masala, nutmeg powder, mace powder, black pepper, and salt. Let it marinate for 2 hours.
  2. After marination, divide the mixture into equal portions and mold them onto seekh (metal skewers).
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and cook the kebabs on medium heat until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve hot with mint chutney and sliced onions.
