Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp hot paprika (optional for extra heat)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in the sweet paprika, hot paprika (if using), and minced garlic.
  5. Add the sliced red bell peppers and diced tomatoes to the pot.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour, or until the chicken is tender.
  8. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
