Sorbete De Mango (mango Sorbet)

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool.
  2. Place the diced mangoes in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Add the cooled sugar syrup and lime juice to the mango puree. Blend again until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
  5. Every 30 minutes, remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork to scrape and stir the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours, or until the sorbet is firm and scoopable.
  6. Serve the mango sorbet in chilled bowls or cones, and enjoy!
