Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Knead the all-purpose flour with water to make a smooth dough. Roll the dough into small circles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold and seal the edges to form dumplings.
- In a pot, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the dumplings for 2-3 minutes. Add the chicken broth and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Serve the soup dumplings hot in bowls, garnished with fresh cilantro.
