- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
