Spaghetti Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the oregano, basil, and marinara sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Toss to coat the spaghetti evenly.
  5. Spread half of the meat sauce into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with the spaghetti mixture, then the remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
