Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, tomato paste, garlic, ginger, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
- Add the pork cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork cubes onto skewers, alternating with chunks of onion and bell pepper.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
