Spanish Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Return the cooked steak to the skillet. Sprinkle the smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper over the steak and vegetables. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve the Spanish pepper steak hot.
