Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet. Add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet. Sprinkle the smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper over the steak and vegetables. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve the Spanish pepper steak hot.
