Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, and white pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves.
- Remove the pot from the heat and discard the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Pour the hot apple cider into mugs and serve hot.
