Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Chop the mushroom stems finely.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the chopped mushroom stems and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the breadcrumbs, parsley, walnuts, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
