Spiced Camel Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 kg camel meat, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the camel meat over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes, carrots, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
