Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pot and brown them on all sides.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, coriander, and cayenne pepper, and cook for a minute to toast the spices.
- Add the diced tomatoes, sliced bell pepper, and carrots to the pot, and pour in the chicken broth.
- Season with salt and pepper, then bring the stew to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the stew simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed, then serve the гӀуламаш hot with rice or bread.
