Spiced Chicken Tikka

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are tender and charred, about 12-15 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with naan or rice.
