Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a pan, toast the coconut flakes over medium heat until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Heat the coconut oil in the same pan and sauté the shallot and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, and chili powder. Stir well to combine.
  4. Add the toasted coconut flakes and mix until well coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Season with salt and brown sugar (if using), and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
