Spiced Lamb And Date Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cumin, paprika, cinnamon, coriander, cayenne pepper, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the lamb cubes to the spice mixture and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb and dates onto the skewers, alternating between the two.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
