Ingredients
- 500g minced lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the minced lamb, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, chili powder, fresh coriander, and salt.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a cylindrical kofta shape.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the koftas and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Serve the spiced lamb kofta hot with rice, naan, or a fresh salad.
