Spiced Lamb Meatballs (Boulettes d'Agneau Épicées)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the meatballs in the skillet for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  6. Serve the spiced lamb meatballs hot, garnished with additional fresh parsley if desired.
