Spiced Lamb Skewers (Brochettes d'Agneau Épicées)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground coriander, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the skewers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
