Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried yellow peas
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried yellow peas in water for 4-5 hours, then drain.
  2. Cook the soaked peas in a pressure cooker until soft, then drain any excess water.
