Ingredients

  • 500g pickled sour cabbage
  • 200g pork belly, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 dried red chilies
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Sugar, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Soak the pickled sour cabbage in water for 10 minutes, then rinse and drain. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and dried red chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the pork belly slices and stir-fry until they turn slightly brown.
  4. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Add the pickled sour cabbage, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and sugar to taste. Serve hot.
