Ingredients

  • 300g lotus root, peeled and julienned

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil to make the dressing. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and red chilies, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the lotus root and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Pour the dressing over the lotus root and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt to taste.
