Spicy Axone Beef Stir-Fry is a traditional Naga dish that combines the bold flavors of axone (fermented soybean) with tender beef and a fiery kick of spices. This dish is perfect for those who love a good spicy stir-fry!
Ingredients
- 500g beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp axone (fermented soybean)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3-4 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with axone, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, and salt for 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the marinated beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and green chilies until slightly caramelized.
- Add the cooked beef back into the pan and stir-fry for a few more minutes until everything is well combined.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
