Ingredients
- 500g pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup axone (fermented soybean)
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.
- Add the pork pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the axone, tomatoes, green chilies, and spices. Cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the water, cover the pan, and let the curry simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until the pork is tender.
- Adjust the seasoning and serve hot with steamed rice.
