Ingredients
- 1 banana blossom, cleaned and sliced
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 4 shallots, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 red chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Prepare the banana blossom by removing the tough outer layers and slicing it thinly.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan and sauté the shallots, garlic, and red chilies until fragrant.
- Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink.
- Add the sliced banana blossom, tamarind paste, sugar, and salt. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until the banana blossom is tender.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
