Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. Add the potatoes to the wok and stir-fry until golden and crispy. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the garlic, onion, and green chilies until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef and potatoes to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry until everything is well combined.
  6. Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
