Ingredients
- 1 pound of beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the dehydrator to 160°F (70°C).
- Remove the beef from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the beef strips on the dehydrator trays, leaving space between each piece for air circulation.
- Dehydrate the beef for 3-4 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of dryness and chewiness.
- Once done, allow the beef jerky to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
