Spicy Beef Skewers (Brochettes de bœuf pimentées)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, vegetable oil, and salt.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Heat a stovetop grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the beef skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
