Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 hot chili peppers, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the onion, bell peppers, hot chili peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the pan and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine all the flavors.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
