Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup groundnut powder (peanut powder)
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the groundnut powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, and salt to make the suya spice mix.
- Add the vegetable oil to the spice mix to form a paste.
- Thread the beef slices onto the soaked skewers and generously coat them with the suya spice paste.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the beef skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
