Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup (60g) ground peanuts
- 2 tablespoons (30g) cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15g) paprika
- 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5g) onion powder
- 1 teaspoon (5g) ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) salt
- 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground peanuts, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, and salt to make the suya spice rub.
- Thread the beef cubes onto the soaked skewers, then brush them with vegetable oil.
- Coat the beef skewers with the suya spice rub, pressing the spices onto the meat to adhere.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
