Spicy Chicken Karahi

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or wok over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Then add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until they change color.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
