Spicy Chicken Skewers (chicken Seekh Kabab)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, onion, green chilies, cilantro, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and bread crumbs.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and form them into long sausage shapes around the skewers.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with mint chutney, naan, and salad.
