Spicy Chicken Stir Fry (chicken Chilly)

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, julienned
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced onions and cook until they turn translucent.
  3. Toss in the chicken pieces and stir-fry until they are cooked through.
  4. Add the bell peppers and continue to cook for a few minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and salt. Pour this sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
  6. Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce coats the chicken and vegetables evenly.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
