Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • 3 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 4-5 dried red chilies
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce and Chinese cooking wine. Marinate the chicken wings in this mixture for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add Sichuan peppercorns, dried red chilies, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated chicken wings to the pan. Stir-fry until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  4. Season with salt and garnish with chopped green onions.
