Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 1 cup coconut milk

- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
- Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they are cooked through.
- Sprinkle garam masala and salt. Mix well.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or appam.
