Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and chili flakes. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the shrimp and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
  6. Transfer the spicy garlic shrimp to a serving dish and serve hot.
