Spicy Goat Kebabs (Brochettes de Chèvre Épicées)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs goat meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. Add the goat meat cubes to the marinade and toss to coat the meat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated goat meat onto the soaked wooden skewers, dividing the meat evenly among the skewers.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness and has a nice charred exterior.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
