Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup groundnut powder (or peanut powder)
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the groundnut powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt to make the spice rub.
- Add the vegetable oil to the spice rub and mix to form a paste.
- Thread the beef cubes onto the soaked skewers, then generously coat the beef with the spice paste.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
- Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and has a nice char.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
