Spicy Haku Chhoila (तातेको हाकु छोयला)

Ingredients

  • 500g buffalo meat, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2-3 fresh green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onions
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the buffalo meat with mustard oil, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill and then grill the marinated meat until it is cooked through and has a nice charred flavor.
  3. Once the meat is grilled, transfer it to a mixing bowl and add chopped green chilies, red onions, and fresh coriander leaves. Mix well to combine.
  4. तातेको हाकु छोयला (Spicy Haku Chhoila) is ready to be served. Garnish with additional coriander leaves and serve as an appetizer or snack.
