Spicy Hazaragi Lamb Kebabs (Kabob-e Gousfand)

Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cubed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped onion, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cubed lamb to the marinade and coat the meat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
