Ingredients
- 1 package of jajangmyeon noodles
- 1/2 cup of black bean paste
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of diced pork or tofu for vegetarian option
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 1/2 cup of diced zucchini
- 1/2 cup of diced potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
- Salt and sugar to taste
Instructions
- Boil the jajangmyeon noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat. Add the diced pork or tofu and cook until browned.
- Add the onions, zucchini, and potatoes to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the black bean paste and water to the wok, stirring to combine. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and sugar to taste.
- Divide the jajangmyeon noodles among serving bowls and top with the black bean sauce. Serve hot.
