Spicy Lamb Kebabs (Brochettes d'Agneau Épicées)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3g) cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated, and let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks onto skewers.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
